2024 Mission Statement
Green Abundance By Design has always been rooted with the goal to provide solutions for a better landscape and environment. Over the last 10 years we have evolved and discovered what this company is for ourselves and for our clients. Along with the maturation of Green Abundance has come a better understanding of the flaws and needs within the landscaping industry.
In 2022 we decided to make a significant change to how we operate our business. We wanted to ensure that all of our employees have the assurance and stability of a paycheck all 52 weeks of the year even if we only have full time work for 40 of those weeks. In order to facilitate this, both Andrew and Mike took pay cuts, but we also raised our rates to make up the difference. Virtually all of our clients stuck with us to help make this reality happen and we thank each of you for that.
This season we are excited to share with you a long list of donated work that we have been able to facilitate within the community during points when we have had available time and resources. Over the past 10 years we have donated aproximately $100,000 in materials and labor to a variety of community projects including:
Installation of and ongoing maintenance of a public edible food forest at Open Spirit on the Edwards Church camps in Saxonville.
Installation of and ongoing maintenance of a pollinator paradise at Walsh Park at the intersection of Routes 126 & 30.
Invasive Plant Management and ecological restoration work work on various Sudbury Valley Trustee properties (Ashland Town Forest, Cowassock Woods, Turenne Wildlife Habitat) and public parks such as Ghiloni Park park in Marlboro and the Cochituate Rail Trail in Framingham
Green Abundance loves being able to bring our stewardship to public lands as a way to bring much needed value for our shared spaces. Your support allows Green Abundance to continue investing in the stewardship and improvement of our natural commons.
Thank you for your continued support in our mission to help steward our social and natural environment.
